Propagation workshop on Saturday 11th April 2pm-4pm £5.00 for Members and £10 for non-members
This two hour workshop led by local keen gardeners is perfect for beginners or those wanting to share and improve their planting skills, . During this workshop you will learn about different compost mixes, preparation, sowing and aftercare of a variety of flowers and vegetables. And have time for drinks and cake.
A half day workshop to enjoy with fellow gardeners. You will go home with sown seeds and potted on seedlings.
Current mixed bag of weather (mainly wet!!) not too good for our gardens but we hope you are will be able to identify in your garden your entries when we near the Spring Show on Saturday 28 March. As you may be aware our shows are open to all Fernhurst residents – not just members and just remember its all-good fun. Click here for further details on how to enter. We are hoping that your entries will turn the village hall into a floral garden to celebrate Spring. We have classes for children too. Many committee members will be on hand to help you display your entries.
