So many wonderful plants on our Plant Stall at Fernhurst Revels on Sunday 18 May.

Our workshop held today,  Saturday 5 July ,was so informative and interesting -  led by Alan Horgan, horticultural specialist, it was perfect for beginners and those wanting to improve their planting skills.

During the workshop everyone learnt simple ways to take cuttings, sow and grow seeds effectively and much more besides. Such an enjoyable and informative morning.

What a wonderful afternoon we had.  There is nothing nicer than walking from garden to garden, admiring the flowers, fruit and vegetables so skilfully grown by their owners. Chatting to friends along the way and then  rewarding yourself with a  cup of tea and a delicious  slice of cake in the final garden. We can't thank you enough for your very generous donations which have raised over £500 for Parkinson's UK .

Full details of all classes can be found both in our schedule and on our show page. Friendly committee members are always around on the day to help in anyway needed. Plus our café serving tea and so many delicious home made cakes from 1.30. Show opens for viewing at 2pm approx. Prizes presented at 3pm. If you are unsure about anything do contact our show secretary via hortsocfernhurst@gmail.com.

A chance to show off your summer harvest of vegetables and flowers, cakes, jams, all those wonderful end of summer season delights. Details of entry categories are in the Society Handbook and on our show page. There are entry classes for children; encourage your children or grandchildren to grow or learn a craft over the summer holidays and display their contributions. The Show takes place on Saturday 6th September in Fernhurst Village Hall.
